The director of part 7 is John Carl Buechler.

This time Jason has to fight a young lady that has special "Carrie" powers. The young lady, her mother and her brain doctor returns to Crystal Lake. It was at Crystal Lake the girl as a child killed her own father. The doctor believes it would make her good to face the ghost she holds inside of her soul. The ghost from the past. In secret the doctor is really exploring her mystical powers. When the girl understands that the doctor is up to monkey business, she runs out from the house and down to the lake. There on the jetty, she wishes real hard that her father will come alive again. Under the surface awaits a chained Jason. And he hears her praying. By the way, there's is a teenage party in the house next door, of course.

Part 7 in the F13- series is a good horror movie. Even if I find the paranormal things a bit silly. Trembling rooms, shifting gaze, flying TV -sets and so on.

This is the first time stuntman Kane Hodder takes on the mask. He makes a great portrait of our favourite goalie. Jason looks bigger and meaner then ever before.

I think this is one of the better F13 and I recommend it.
