The Mist- Motion Picture Production Log

Stephen King's Official Website is doing something very cool. They have started a production log for the filming of Stephen King's "The Mist", and King's Official site is providing everyone with the gory details, including publicity stills, on the set shots, and Quicktime video hosted by director of "The Mist", Frank Darabont.

Mike Carbone and Michael Becker from the Reel Horror Podcast got a little flak for talking about the similarities of King's story to that of "The Fog", but regardless of whether you agree or disagree, the production log is very cool, and all those interested in King's book and the movie due to come out November 21, 2007 will find it to be a little added bonus.

Check it out.

NEW TRAILERS!

Two new trailers hit the web this week. Wes Craven's "RED-EYE" and Ian Softly's "The Skeleton Key" written by THE RING scribe Ehren Kruger. Check inside for more info and Trailers!

RED-EYE, about Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) hates to fly, but the terror that awaits her on the night flight to Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying. Moments after takeoff, Lisa's seatmate, Jackson (Cillian Murphy, 28 DAYS LATER), menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board. Now honestly the word "menacingly" I don't know why this word was used. I was told there are no monsters in this film but after watching the trailer it seems there might be. Check out the official website and trailer.

THE SKELETON KEY, about a New Orleans-set mystery about a caretaker (Kate Hudson) who experiences fright after fright in an elderly couple's home. The film seems like your average run of the mill movie, like BOOGYMAN and THE GRUDGE mixed with a little THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW. Check out the trailer here.
